We're O Positive.

O Positive is more than a slogan for us.
It's our way of telling a story of the many
successes that are deserving of Ontario's pride.
Are you ready to be a part of our story?

Along the calm, gently flowing waters of the Snake River lives a place alive with pride and possibilities. The people who make Ontario home include families grown from early pioneers to newer generations attracted to building a future in a place that embodies the life and culture of the American West.

Many would describe Ontario, Oregon as peaceful with a laid-back kind of vibe – the kind of place you might envision when you dream about getting away from the hectic pace of city life. The people here are unpretentious and down-to-earth. They love the outdoors and the immediate, no waiting access to nearly limitless recreational opportunities. But most of all, they care about family and community, and the lynchpins that bring the two together are Ontario’s schools.

In the past several years, Ontario has gained the attention of other Oregon school districts. Ontario has become an example of what happens when you have ambitious goals along with clear direction and passionate educators who can create amazing outcomes.

You don’t have to go far to find a fantastic assortment of recreational choices for all ages, interests and skill levels. Here, you can enjoy: cycling, mountain biking, hiking, golfing, camping, sport fishing, bird watching, kayaking, river rafting, horseback riding and much more.

Ontario is situated only two hours from four separate ski resorts. You can not only downhill ski to your heart’s content, but also snowmobile, cross country ski and ice skate as well. There are also 61 acres of lush parks within the city.
