Hobby Day at May Roberts

May Roberts Elementary School again hosted two days packed with learning and fun. "Hobby Day" is presented on one Friday in April for students in grades K-2, and the next Friday for students in grades 3-5. Community members are invited to showcase their interests and hobbies.

"This wonderful event accomplishes two important goals," said Principal Frances Ramirez. "First, it lets students know that learning never stops -- we all keep learning our entire lives. Secondly, it shows our young people how much the community cares about them and how much adults value education. Great messages all around!"
