Pumpkin Patch Fun

Pioneer's Kindergarten and First Grade classes went to Purdum's Pumpkin Patch in Fruitland, ID just in time for Halloween.  "We braved the rain and mud to pick our favorite pumpkins," said First Grade Teacher, Marnie Dundas.  After getting off the school bus, the students, teachers and parent volunteers took a hay ride into the pumpkin patch.  "Each child picked one pumpkin to take home with them," explained Kindergarten Teacher, Susan Tolman.  Both Mrs. Tolman and Mrs. Dundas would like to thank the following parent volunteers;  Cynatra Shaw, Rachelle Larson, Susan Hernandez, Dan and Joy Orr and Mishawn Bertram.  "The smiles on the kids' faces were worth it.  We definitely need to repeat this field trip next near," added Mrs. Dundas.
