  • ALAMEDA - Rob asked when to insist upon outside medical care for injured staff.
  • CAIRO - None

  • MAY ROBERTS - None
  • OMS - Tina said they are checking the maintenance on items for snow preparation.
  • OHS - Bret said there are kids messing with some electrical areas. Buckley said those are being fixed.
  • MAIN/TRAN - Buckley said the entire maintenance crew will be out Dec. 4 for asbestos training.
  • FOOD/CUSTODIAL - Absent

INJURY REPORTS
There were 22 student injuries reported between Nov. 24, 2009, and Dec. 16, 2009: six at Aiken; three at Alameda; nine at OMS; and four at OHS.

There were no non-student injuries reported between Nov. 24, 2009, and Dec. 16, 2009.

REVIEW OF STUDENT INJURY REPORTS
Through Nov. 24, 2009, 59 student injuries have been reported in the 2009-2010 school year.

REVIEW OF NON-STUDENT INJURY REPORTS
Through Nov. 24, 2009, 11 non-student injuries have been reported in the 2009-2010 school year.

PRESENTATION
Benny presented a handout prepared by the Eastern Oregon Chapter of the American Red Cross on how to be ready for a winter storm and things to do to prepare for an emergency. Benny said he hands this out to his staff and recommended all members share it with their buildings.

COMMENTS
Buckley said his department will be pushing snow east of Tiger gym to be picked up and trucked out by the contractor.

The custodians attended an asbestos training and indicated it was dynamic and turned out well. The two-hour training is mandatory annually.

NEXT MEETING
The next meeting will be Dec. 16 at 1:30 p.m. in the district office board room. Conrad Tester will share a presentation.
