    • 3rd Annual Junior/Senior Juried Art Show
    The Third Annual Malheur County Junior-Senior Juried Art Show was held at the Four Rivers Cultural Center.
    This is the first year that Ontario High School won both the People's Choice Award (selected by popular vote), and the Best of Show Award (selected by the judges).
    Monica Becerril won People's Choice and Rebecca Molina won Best of Show. In addition, both girls won multiple prizes on all entries.
    The show is sponsored by the Malheur County Art Teachers Cadre, composed of Nyssa, Ontario and Vale high school art teachers. Judges of this year's show were Charlotte Fugate, former executive director of the FRCC, and Ted Fink, art and photography instructor.
