Art I students are studying the basic elements and principles of art.  In this assignment, students were challenged to create a dynamic collage using geometric and/or organic shapes, and at the same time use texture and color for repetition and variety.  Students chose a theme and color scheme and went to work. These are some of the results.  When they were done, students gave an expository speech about their artwork, which qualified for one of their CIM speech requirements.
