Child Abuse/Sexual Conduct Trainings

The highest priority and interest for the Ontario School District is student safety.  It is our mission and desire to ensure each student is able to fully participate and have access to an appropriate education free of any and all behaviors and acts associated with Child Abuse and/or Sexual Misconduct. In order to inform and train students, parents, guardians, staff members and volunteers on the identification and intervention of suspected child abuse and/or sexual misconduct, access to the SafeSchools Child Abuse and Sexual Conduct: Staff-to-Students trainings is provided here, in both English and Spanish, by clicking on the link below. Upon clicking the link below, you will be taken to a registration page where you will enter your basic information, including a username.

SafeSchools is an online management system that allows school districts across the nation to easily provide training on school-related safety issues. SafeSchool trainings have been authored by nationally renowned experts and have been endorsed by numerous school districts across the nation. The Ontario School District encourages all stakeholders to access these trainings to become better informed and equipped to help identify and intervene in any and all suspected cases of child abuse and/or sexual misconduct. Your participation will help ensure that the Ontario School District remains a safe place for all students to learn!
